Football Recap: St. Ignatius College Preparatory Victorious

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Saint Francis, St. Ignatius College Preparatory was happy to have turned things around on Friday. They walked away with a 24-14 win over the Valley Christian Warriors. The victory continues a trend for the Wildcats in their matchups with the Warriors: they've now won six in a row.

Caedon Afsharipour was a one-man wrecking crew as he threw for 140 yards and two touchdowns, and also rushed for 50 yards and one score. That's the most passing touchdowns he has posted since back in August. Luke Tribolet helped out on the ground, rushing for 87 yards.

When it comes to explaining why Valley Christian lost, don't look at Riley Mcelvane. Despite the final result, he picked up 104 receiving yards and a pair of TDs.
