With a playoff win on the line, Geneseo rose to the challenge  on Sunday. They had just enough and edged out the Notre Dame Fighting Irish  7-6. Winning may never get old, but the Blue Devils sure are getting used to it with their 13th in a row.
 Geneseo saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was  Cooper Warner, who  went 3-for-4 with two  stolen bases, two  runs,  and one  triple. That's the most  hits  Warner has posted since back in April. Another  was  Oren Ray, who  got on base  in three of his four plate appearances with one  stolen base and one  RBI.
Geneseo's win was  their fourth straight at home, which  pushed their record up to 17-4. The  home  victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as  they  averaged 10.0 runs over those games. As for Notre Dame, they moved to 15-5 with that  loss, which also ended their three-game winning streak.
 Geneseo didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next  game,  a  7-6  win against Notre Dame Academy on the 25th. Notre Dame does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
