Baseball Recap: Granada Takes a Loss

After soaring to 16 runs the game before, Granada was a bit more limited in their contest on Friday. They lost 11-2 to the Wiley Panthers. The loss continues a trend for the Bobcats in their meetings with the Panthers: they've now lost five in a row.

Granada saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Edgurr Morales, who went 2-for-3 with two stolen bases, one run, and one double. Morales is crushing it when it comes to stolen bases: he's snagged at least two every time he's taken the field this season. Another was Sebastian Pizarro, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with one double and one RBI.

Granada now has a losing record of 1-2. As for Wiley, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 6-4-1.

While Granada had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair will be back at it again later today.
