Legacy Charter has enjoyed the comforts of home their last two games, but now they'll head out on the road. They will take on the Forest Lake Academy Panthers at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. Hopefully Legacy Charter focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 25 on Monday.
Legacy Charter struggled with offensive rebounds on Monday (Pine Ridge had 17 more) and sadly the final score reflected it. Legacy Charter received a tough blow as they fell 47-31 to Pine Ridge.
Despite the loss, Legacy Charter had strong showings from Ashlyn Kraus, who scored 16 points along with seven rebounds, and Mckenzie Williams, who scored no points along with 11 rebounds and two steals.
Legacy Charter struggled to work together and finished the game with only three assists. That's the fewest assists they've managed all season.
Meanwhile, Forest Lake Academy managed to keep up with City of Life Christian Academy until halftime on Monday, but things quickly went downhill from there. Forest Lake Academy was the victim of a tough 56-35 loss at the hands of City of Life Christian Academy. Forest Lake Academy has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Legacy Charter has not been sharp recently, as they've lost four of their last five games, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-7 record this season. As for Forest Lake Academy, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-6.
Legacy Charter was taken down by Forest Lake Academy 58-15 in their previous matchup back in January of 2018. Thankfully for Legacy Charter, Brianne Mility (who scored 16 points along with eight steals and seven rebounds) won't be suiting up this time. Will that be enough to change the final result?
