Chartiers-Houston has been on the road for four straight, but on Friday they'll finally head home. They will take on the Bentworth Bearcats at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Chartiers-Houston will be strutting in after a win while Bentworth will be coming in after a defeat.
Last Tuesday, Chartiers-Houston didn't have too much trouble with Bethlehem Center on the road as they won 50-35.
Meanwhile, Bentworth's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Tuesday after their third straight loss. They were the victim of a tough 77-51 loss at the hands of Fort Cherry. Bentworth has not had much luck with Fort Cherry recently, as the team's come up short the last three times they've met.
Despite the loss, Bentworth had strong showings from Ben Hays, who scored 12 points along with two steals, and Lucas Burt, who dropped a double-double on 17 points and 13 rebounds. Burt hasn't dropped below two steals for four straight games.
Chartiers-Houston's victory bumped their record up to 11-5. As for Bentworth, they dropped their record down to 3-12 with that loss, which was their seventh straight at home.
Chartiers-Houston was able to grind out a solid win over Bentworth in their previous meeting on January 2nd, winning 59-46. Will Chartiers-Houston repeat their success, or does Bentworth have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
