American Collegiate Academy got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Tristan Townsend out in front who dropped a double-double on 17 points and 10 steals. That makes it two consecutive games in which Townsend has scored at least 25% of American Collegiate Academy's points. Another player making a difference was Jamaal Caldwell, who scored 15 points.
Classical Prep's defeat dropped their record down to 0-2. As for American Collegiate Academy, the victory makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 2-0.
Classical Prep will head out on the road to face off against Brandon Academy at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Brandon Academy is still on the hunt for that elusive first 'W'.
