A Season-Best Performance from Carlos Toscano Leads Greenway over Peoria
On Friday, Greenway had to settle for second even though Carlos Toscano put up the best numbers he has all season. Toscano rushed for 274 yards and three touchdowns while picking up 8.8 yards per carry, and also caught a touchdown, good enough to set a new career-high in rushing yards in the process. He was no stranger to the big play, taking off on a dash that went for 60 yards.
If history really does repeat itself, Toscano might just drop another big game when he faces off against Moon Valley on Friday. Back in October of 2023 (the last time Toscano saw the Rockets), he rushed for 146 yards and a touchdown.
