The Mid-Carolina Rebels will head out on the road to face off against the Batesburg-Leesville Panthers at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Hopefully Mid-Carolina focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 16 on Friday.
Mid-Carolina had to endure a three-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. They secured a 39-34 W over Fox Creek.
Kaden Myers continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, scoring 15 points. The matchup was his fourth in a row with at least ten points. Jacob Clark was another key contributor, dropping a double-double on 11 points and 10 rebounds.
Meanwhile, Batesburg-Leesville got the win against Ridge Spring-Monetta on Friday by a conclusive 55-34. The win made it back-to-back wins for Batesburg-Leesville.
The losses dropped Mid-Carolina to 1-3 and Fox Creek to 1-5.
Mid-Carolina came up short against Batesburg-Leesville when the teams last played back in December of 2022, falling 47-43. Can Mid-Carolina avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
