Make it six blowout wins for the Oceanside Mariners this season. They claimed a resounding 95-68 victory over Lincoln Academy on the road. Oceanside's victory was nothing new given the team hasn't lost yet this season.
Leading Oceanside to victory were Cohen Galley and Carter Galley. Galley scored 22 points along with eight assists and eight rebounds, while Galley scored 29 points along with five rebounds and four steals. Galley is absolutely dominating the point category: he's posted at least 15 every time he's taken the court this season. The team also got some help courtesy of Trevin Ripley, who scored 11 points along with eight rebounds and two steals.
Oceanside pushed their record up to 9-0 with that win, which was their ninth straight on the road dating back to last season. They've been dominating during the matchups in that stretch too, as they've won by an average of 24.89 points. As for Lincoln Academy, their defeat dropped their record down to 8-2.
Oceanside will head out on the road to face off against Spruce Mountain at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. Spruce Mountain will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Maine Rankings (they are ranked 34th, while Oceanside is ranked fourth). As for Lincoln Academy, they will be playing at home against Winslow at 6:30 p.m. on Friday.
