Zuni looks to establish their home field advantage on Friday as they take on Santa Fe Indian at 7:00 PM. Zuni are expected to win -- but not by much -- so they will need to come into the matchup prepared for a fight.
Things could have been worse for Zuni, but things could have been a whole lot better as they took a 34-54 loss to Newcomb last Friday. Zuni were down by 20-40 at the end of the third quarter, which was just too much to recover from.
Meanwhile, while not quite a landslide, the contest between Santa Fe Indian and Wingate was still a pretty decisive one as Santa Fe Indian wrapped it up with a 34-16 victory. The success made it back-to-back wins for Santa Fe Indian.
Santa Fe Indian's win lifted them to 2-2 while Zuni's defeat dropped them down to 1-3. We'll see if Santa Fe Indian's success rolls on or if Zuni are able to steal their positive momentum.
