Troy is 9-1 against Fullerton since January of 2019, and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Monday. The Troy Warriors on the road again and play against the Fullerton Indians at 7:00 p.m. on January 22nd. Hopefully Troy is not getting complacent, as they presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than Fullerton in California (Troy is ranked 201st, while Fullerton is ranked 592nd).
Last Friday, Troy came up short against Sunny Hills and fell 56-46.
Meanwhile, Fullerton was able to grind out a solid win over Buena Park on Friday, taking the game 61-48.
Troy's loss dropped their record down to 15-8. As for Fullerton, their win bumped their record up to 10-13.
Everything came up roses for Troy against Fullerton in their previous meeting back in December of 2023 as the team secured a 68-34 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for Troy since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
