Hyde Park extended their winning streak to three on Friday, bumping them up to 8-4. They put the hurt on the Grace Community Cougars with a sharp 17-7 victory. Considering the Panthers have won seven matchups by more than six runs this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

As for Grace Community, they are on an eight-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-3. Surprisingly, this marked the third straight game in which the away team has come away the victor in this series.

For Grace Community's part, Sadie Arriola was cooking despite her team's loss, going a perfect 2-for-2 with two runs and two doubles. Another player making a difference was Malyana Cauley, who got on base in all three of her plate appearances with two RBI and one run.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: Hyde Park beat Grace Community by a score of 17-7 later that day.
