Two dominant signal callers in Diaris Morales and Amaya Pablo are getting ready to go toe-to-toe. The Choctawhatchee Indians will venture away from home to challenge the Pace Patriots at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Both teams are still undefeated (Choctawhatchee has eight wins , while Pace has six).
On Tuesday, everything went Choctawhatchee's way against Niceville as Choctawhatchee made off with a 27-6 win. Given the Indians' advantage in MaxPreps' Florida football rankings (they are ranked fifth, while the Eagles are ranked 85th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Morales continued her habit of posting crazy stat lines, throwing for 261 yards and one touchdown, while also punching in one touchdown on the ground. The dominant performance gave her a new career-high in passing yards.
Meanwhile, Pace put their dominant defense on display in the team's fourth consecutive shutout on Monday. They never let Tate get on the board and left with a 26-0 victory. The Patriots might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won five games by 26 points or more this season.
Choctawhatchee better keep an eye on Pablo. She was instrumental in Pace's win, throwing for 180 yards and three touchdowns, while also rushing for 33 yards. Pablo has been hot recently, having posted three or more passing touchdowns the last three times she's played. Emily Good got in on the action too, converting a pick into a touchdown.
One reason for the win was Pace's imposing defense, which managed to get into the backfield for three sacks. Leading the way was Maci McGinnis with two. Good got in on the action too, converting a pick into a touchdown.
Pace pushed their record up to 6-0 with the win, which was their fifth straight at home dating back to last season. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 36.4 points. As for Choctawhatchee, their record is now 8-0.
Everything came up roses for Choctawhatchee against Pace in their previous meeting back in April of 2024, as the squad secured a 31-0 victory. Does Choctawhatchee have another victory up their sleeve, or will Pace turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
