Despite the loss, Cornerstone Christian had strong showings from Griffin Plummer, who scored 12 points along with 6 rebounds and 4 steals, and Joaquin Galindo, who scored 17 points. The match was Galindo's fourth in a row with at least ten points.
It was another big night for MAYSON THOMAS, who dropped a double-double on 24 points and 12 rebounds for Pieper. That makes it two consecutive games in which THOMAS has scored at least 25% of Pieper's points. Another player making a difference was SANTIAGO LOYA, who scored 5 points.
Cornerstone Christian's loss dropped their record down to 6-6. As for Pieper, the victory (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 8-1.
Cornerstone Christian's road trip will continue as they head out to face McCollum at 8:30 a.m. on December 2nd. McCollum is coming into the game on a three-game losing streak. As for Pieper, they will face off against Steele at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. Steele will be looking to extend their current four-game winning streak.
