Volleyball Recap: Concordia Makes It Four in a Row on the Road

Concordia had won three straight road games and Baylen Arnold did her part to make it four on Tuesday. The Panthers walked away with a 2-0 win over the Marysville Bulldogs for which the team can thank Arnold, who had 18 digs and three assists. She has been hot recently, having posted 12 or more digs the last four times she's played.

Concordia never let Marysville on the board, but things got pretty close in the second set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-20, 25-22.

Concordia's victory bumped their record up to 5-3. As for Marysville, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-5.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Concordia will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against Wamego at 5:00 p.m. on the 16th. After both having extra time off, Marysville and Clay Center will shake off the cobwebs and hit the court against one another at 5:15 p.m. on Tuesday.
