In what's become a running theme this season, the Eastwood Troopers gave their fans yet another huge victory on Tuesday. They put the hurt on Eastlake with a sharp 48-22 victory. The victory was nothing new for Eastwood as they're now sitting on seven straight.
It was another big night for Amaya Williams, who dropped a double-double on 15 points and 18 rebounds. She hasn't dropped below two steals for seven straight games. The team also got some help courtesy of Itzel Caro, who scored 11 points along with eight rebounds and two steals.
Eastwood has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won eight of their last nine matches, which provided a nice bump to their 25-5 record this season. As for Eastlake, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 10-20.
Eastwood will be playing in front of their home fans against Midland at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The timing is sure in Eastwood's favor as the team sits on four straight wins at home while Midland has been banged up by three consecutive losses on the road. Eastlake does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
