Basketball Recap: STEM School Highlands Ranch Picks Up Third Consecutive Win

STEM School Highlands Ranch had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 18.5 points) and they went ahead and made it three on Tuesday. They strolled past the Mile High Academy Mustangs with points to spare, taking the game 51-35. The Spartans have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Mustangs, too.

It was another big night for Avi Thakkar, who went 6-for-14 to rack up 18 points. Another player making a difference was Ramsey Kelly, who posted six points and six rebounds.

Despite the loss, Mile High Academy had strong showings from Rogan Annis, who dropped a double-double with 14 points and 12 boards, and Noel Koloay, who scored ten points. Annis is on a roll when it comes to rebounds, as he's now pulled down eight or more in each of the last three games he's played.

STEM School Highlands Ranch's victory bumped their record up to 13-8. As for Mile High Academy, they dropped their record down to 4-17 with the defeat, which was their 11th straight on the road dating back to last season.

STEM School Highlands Ranch does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Mile High Academy, they will be playing at home against Front Range Baptist at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. Front Range Baptist is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 52.8 points per game this season.
