After flying high against R.J. Reynolds  on Tuesday, East Forsyth came back down to earth. The Eagles took  a  3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Southwest Guilford Cowboys on Wednesday.  Despite the  loss, East Forsyth had strong showings from  Maddie Fendley, who  had five  digs and two  aces, and  Kayla Meekins, who  had six  digs and one assist.  Myah Wong also deserves some recognition as  she  had her first  block of the season.
 Southwest Guilford can attribute much of their success to  Charlotte Bliven, who  had ten  digs and six  aces. Bliven is  on a roll when it comes to  aces, as she's  now  served two or more in each of the last ten games she's  played.
East Forsyth's defeat dropped their record down to 12-9. As for Southwest Guilford, their win was  their fifth straight at home, which  pushed their record up to 14-10.
 East Forsyth didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next  match,  a  3-1  victory against Reagan on the 9th. As for Southwest Guilford, they have also already played their next contest,  a  3-0  win against Ragsdale on the 9th.
