Marvin Ridge's defeat came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Brady Dunn, who scored 12 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Jaiden Morris, who scored 8 points along with 6 rebounds.
Catawba Ridge found their leader in underclassman Quh'Mareon Webb, who scored 16 points along with 5 rebounds. Another player making a difference was Lance Barnes, who scored 11 points along with 7 rebounds.
Marvin Ridge's defeat dropped their record down to 1-1. As for Catawba Ridge, the victory for they keeps them at an undefeated 4-0.
