Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Benton). Everything went their way against the Carl Junction Bulldogs on Thursday as the Benton Cardinals made off with an 87-65 win. The victory was familiar territory for the Cardinals who have now won three contests in a row.

Benton's record is now 6-1. As for Carl Junction, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-2.

Benton and Crooked Oak will face off at 1:00 p.m. on Friday without much rest having both just played. As for Carl Junction, they will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Pittsburg at 6:00 p.m. on January 7, 2025.
