Leuzinger took a nine-run defeat the last time they faced off against Wiseburn- Da Vinci, but this time they managed to keep it close and that made all the difference. The Olympians had just enough and edged out the Wolves 8-7 on Friday. The win was familiar territory for the Olympians, who have now won three games in a row.
Leuzinger got a big performance out of Haniyyah Cooley, who went 2-for-4 with two runs, two RBI, and one double. The team also got some help courtesy of Naleeah Cruz, who got on base in all five of her plate appearances with one run and one RBI.
