The Greenville Classical Academy Lions's four-game losing streak came to an end on Tuesday. They skirted past Tabernacle Christian 46-44. The win was just what Greenville Classical Academy needed coming off of a 76-51 loss in their prior contest.
Leading Greenville Classical Academy to victory were Grant Terry and Josiah Schvaneveldt. Terry scored 16 points along with 9 rebounds, while Schvaneveldt dropped a double-double on 17 points and 10 rebounds. The match was Schvaneveldt's third in a row with at least ten points. Daniel Wackerhagen was another key contributor, scoring 5 points.
Greenville Classical Academy's win bumped their record up to 1-4. As for Tabernacle Christian, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 0-2.
Greenville Classical Academy will head out on the road to face off against Lake Pointe Academy at 7:45 p.m. on Friday. Lake Pointe Academy will be looking to keep their three-game home win streak alive. Tabernacle Christian will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Union Christian Day on January 12, 2024.
