The Blum Bobcats's game on Thursday was all tied up 22-22 at the half, but sadly for them it didn't stay that way. They fell 49-42 to Valor Preparatory Academy. Blum can't seem to catch a break and have yet to win any of their three games.
Valor Preparatory Academy found their leader in underclassman Bennett Herman, who scored 22 points along with 7 rebounds and 3 steals. Bear Griesemer was another key contributor, scoring 9 points along with 6 rebounds and 5 assists.
Blum's loss dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Valor Preparatory Academy, the victory got them back to even at 2-2.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Blum will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Abbott at 6:00 p.m. on December 15th. Valor Preparatory Academy is on the road again on Tuesday and play against Non Varsity Opponent at 5:30 p.m. on December 5th.
