Myles Richardson Turns in Season-Best Effort
On Friday, Valley Union got the W thanks in part to Myles Richardson playing the best football he has all season. Richardson picked up 130 receiving yards and two touchdowns, and also rushed for 78 yards and a touchdown. He also deserves a shoutout for his performance on D, making five total tackles and defending three passes in addition to snagging an interception.
This season, Richardson has caught 4 touchdowns while averaging 36.7 receiving yards per game. That doesn't tell the whole story though: at this point last year, he was only averaging 6.67 rushing yards per game. This year he is averaging 62.83 rushing yards.

Pacheco Made His Presence Known in St. David's 49-0 Win
Chase Pacheco was a major factor in St. David's victory over San Manuel on Friday. San Manuel had no answer to Pacheco as he rushed for 133 yards and two touchdowns on only 13 carries, and also caught a touchdown. Pacheco's longest rush was for an impressive 55 yards, which helps to explain his lofty yards per carry total.
If history really does repeat itself, Pacheco might just drop another big game when he faces off against Fort Thomas on Friday. Pacheco rushed for 109 yards and four touchdowns on only seven carries, and also caught a touchdown the last time he and the Apaches duked it out back in October of 2023.
