Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask West Henderson). They took down the Tuscola Mountaineers 83-66 on Tuesday. The Falcons haven't had any issues with the Mountaineers recently, as the game was their seventh consecutive victory against them.
Tyler Nash was his usual excellent self, dropping a double-double with 26 points and 13 rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Parker Maltby, who went 5-for-11 on his way to 18 points.
West Henderson smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 16 offensive rebounds. That's the most offensive boards they've posted since back in February of 2024.
Tuscola lost despite a true team effort on offense. The best among them was Gavin Chouinard, who went 8-for-12 to rack up 26 points. What's more, he also posted a 67% field goal percentage, which is the highest he's posted since back in November of 2023. Bryce Ferguson was another key player, going 7-for-13 en route to 23 points and five boards.
West Henderson's win bumped their record up to 4-20. As for Tuscola, they dropped their record down to 2-21 with the loss, which was their sixth straight at home.
