Denmark-Olar got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Shamorion Palmer out in front who scored 11 points along with five rebounds and four steals. Palmer is trending in the right direction, as he's improved his point production for three games straight. Another player making a difference was Treveon Hinton, who scored seven points along with six rebounds and four steals.
Denmark-Olar's win bumped their record up to 14-5. As for Williston-Elko, they have been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 8-8 record this season.
Both teams will face off at 8:00 p.m. on February 2nd without much rest after finishing up games yesterday. Williston-Elko is no doubt hoping to put an end to a three-game streak of away losses. As for they, they will head out on the road to face off against Denmark-Olar at 8:00 p.m. on Friday. Hopefully Denmark-Olar focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up nine on Wednesday.
