In other batting news, Miguel Garcia was excellent, scoring two runs while going 2-for-3. Those two runs gave him a new career-high. Mario Rodriguez was another key player, scoring a run while going 1-for-4.

Meanwhile, Montezuma-Cortez beat Aztec 9-6 on Friday.
Montezuma-Cortez's victory was their eighth straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 5-1.
