Siletz Valley took care of business in their home opener. They took their match against Perrydale last week 36-22.
Meanwhile, there's no need to mince words: Mohawk lost to Chiloquin, and they lost bad. The score wound up at 8-46. This makes it the second loss in a row for Mohawk.
Siletz Valley's win lifted them to 1-0 while Mohawk's defeat dropped them down to 0-2. We'll find out if Siletz Valley can add another positive mark to their record or if Mohawk can shake off the defeat and take the spring out of Siletz Valley's step.
