There's no place like home for Urbana, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Tuesday. They breezed by the Bellefontaine Chieftains to the tune of 59-32 on Saturday. The Hillclimbers have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won eight games by 22 points or more this season.

It was another big night for Peyton Mounce, who dropped a double-double on 27 points and 12 rebounds. That makes it 15 consecutive games in which she has scored at least a third of Urbana's points. Alexandra Dixon was another key player, putting up 16 points and three steals.

Bellefontaine's defeat came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Tiffany Boop, who posted eight points. Boop is also on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed two or more in the last four games she's played. Another player making a difference was Laila Butler, who put up six points.

Urbana pushed their record up to 16-4 with the win, which was their tenth straight at home. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 56.8 points per game. As for Bellefontaine, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost four of their last five contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 11-8 record this season.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Urbana will host London at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Bellefontaine, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Indian Lake at 7:30 p.m. on Monday.
