Tri-Valley extended their losing streak  to three  on Saturday, dropping them down to 3-4. They came up short against  the Wrangell Wolves, falling  3-0. Unfortunately, that's the third time they've come up short against the Wolves this season,  with their most recent  loss being a  3-1  defeat  on Saturday.
As for Wrangell, they are  on a roll lately: they've  won 11 of their last 12 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 11-5-1 record  this season. They not only won  on Saturday, but they posted their biggest win  since December 6, 2024 (when they won  3-0).
 Wrangell was led to victory by  Christina Johnson and  Sophia MartinSen.  Johnson  had 29  assists and seven  aces, while  Martinsen  had 15  digs. That's the most  aces  Johnson has posted since back in November of 2024.  Jenna Eastaugh also deserves some recognition as  she  had her first  blocks of the season.
 Tri-Valley will have a little extra prep time after the  defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Susitna Valley at 3:00  p.m.  on November 15. Wrangell does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
