After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Bullitt East, Jeffersontown was happy to have turned things around on Monday. They blew past the Southern Trojans 17-1. The Chargers haven't had any issues with the Trojans recently, as the game was their seventh consecutive victory against them.

The win was their first on the road , bumping their record up to 3-7. As for Southern, they are on a 13-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-12.

Coming up, Jeffersontown will head out to face off against Whitefield Academy at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The Wildcats have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 11.89 runs per game on average), something the Chargers will no doubt try to take advantage of. As for Southern, they will take on Moore at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
