They blew past the Wildcats 34-0 on the road. Given Palm Beach Gardens' advantage in MaxPreps' Florida football rankings (they are ranked 111th, while Royal Palm Beach is ranked 455th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
Palm Beach Gardens got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Keyon Stephens out in front who rushed for 14 yards and a touchdown, and also picked up 35 receiving yards. The team also got some help courtesy of Alonzo Reese, who rushed for 77 yards and a touchdown.
The victory makes it two in a row for Palm Beach Gardens and bumps their season record up to 5-3. They've been dominating during the contests in that stretch too, as they've won by an average of 30.5 points. As for Royal Palm Beach, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-7.
Palm Beach Gardens will be playing in front of their home fans against Palm Beach Central at 6:30 p.m. on October 20th. Palm Beach Central is looking to tack on another W to their seven-game streak on the road. Royal Palm Beach will have plenty of time to ponder what went wrong as they've got a bye scheduled next week. After, they'll take on Palm Beach Lakes at 6:30 p.m. on October 27th.
