Having struggled with three losses in a row, Calvary Baptist turned things around against Cornerstone Christian on Thursday. They were the clear victors by a 20-3 margin over the Crusaders. The result was nothing new for the Cougars, who have now won eight matches by 11 runs or more so far this season.

Reagan Hanson and Bri Rosales were a major factor while hitting and pitching. On the mound, Hanson tossed three innings while giving up no earned runs off two hits. Meanwhile, Rosales pitched two innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. At bat, Hanson scored four runs and stole three bases while getting on base in all four of her plate appearances, while Rosales went 1-for-3 with two runs, one triple, and two RBI. Those three stolen bases gave Hanson a new career-high.
In other batting news, Calvary Baptist let Isabella Macias and Isabel Chatoney run wild.
