Breaux Bridge won against Livonia on Thursday with 15 runs and they decided to stick to that run total again on Friday. Breaux Bridge's pitchers stepped up to hand the Berchmans Academy Saints a 15-0 shutout. The result was nothing new for the Tigers, who have now won seven contests by six runs or more so far this season.

Breaux Bridge's victory was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 13-7-1. The wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 9.3 runs over those games. As for Berchmans Academy, they have been struggling recently as they've lost eight of their last nine matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-10 record this season.

Breaux Bridge will host Opelousas Catholic at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Opelousas Catholic will roll in looking for their eighth straight victory, something Breaux Bridge surely won't give up without a fight. As for Berchmans Academy, they will head out to face off against West St. Mary at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. West St. Mary has struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 11.88 runs per game on average), something Berchmans Academy will no doubt try to take advantage of.
