In what's become a running theme this season, Haines City gave their fans yet another huge win on Thursday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat Liberty 75-14 at home. While fans of Haines City might be used to big wins, the 61-point margin marked the team's biggest win yet this season.
Arissa Jenkins was her usual excellent self, scoring 45 points. As a matter of fact, that's the most points she has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of Zebrelle Canaday, who scored 12 points.
George Jenkins is on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last nine matchups, which provided a massive bump to their 15-9 record this season. As for Haines City, their victory was their fifth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 16-5.
Wednesday's matchup is shaping up to be a scrappy match: George Jenkins have been smashing the glass this season, having averaged 27.3 rebounds per game. It's a different story for Haines City, though, as they've been averaging only 4.1 rebounds per game. Given George Jenkins' sizable advantage in that area, Haines City will need to find a way to close that gap.
