Moorefield (W. Va.) notched 13 points on top of its 33-point lead going into the fourth quarter to win against Berkeley Springs (W. Va.) 53-7.
After taking the lead on a rushing touchdown in the first quarter, the Yellowjackets led 27-7 at the half.
Moorefield grew its lead to 33 points entering the fourth quarter. MHS scored two times in the third, including once on a
Dakota Vetter touchdown run.
Berkeley Springs' lone touchdown came on a run in the first quarter.
Coming into the game the Yellowjackets had allowed 20.2 points per game this year.
Moorefield also won the meeting between the two teams last season, 59-6.
With the win MHS extended its winning streak to four games.
Berkeley Springs (0-6) will play a non-conference game against Clear Spring next week, while Moorefield (5-1) will take on Fayetteville also in a non-conference game.
