The Antelope Rams and the Joseph City Wildcats will face off at 7:00 p.m. on February 7th without much rest after finishing up games yesterday. One thing working in Antelope's favor is that they have posted big point totals in their last three matches.
Antelope pushed their score all the way to 55 on Friday, but even that wasn't enough to win. They fell 68-55 to Anthem Prep. Antelope has struggled against the Eagles recently, as their game on Friday was their third consecutive lost matchup.
Meanwhile, Joseph City was within striking distance but couldn't close the gap on Friday as they fell 48-42 to the Apaches.
Despite the defeat, Joseph City saw an underclassman step up: Cort Miller scored 17 points along with two steals. Miller hasn't dropped below two steals for five straight games. The team also got some help courtesy of Jared Layden, who scored 12 points.
Antelope's loss ended a four-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 16-5. As for Joseph City, their defeat ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 20-10.
