Orlando Christian Prep's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Darius Washington, III led the charge by scoring 11 points along with 6 rebounds. Washington, III is on a roll when it comes to steals, as he's now stole two or more in the last three games he's played. Ameer Ramadan was another key contributor, scoring 13 points.
When it comes to explaining why Harmony lost, one person who can't be blamed is Vladimir Torrado. Despite the final result, he scored 11 points along with 6 rebounds and 4 steals. Torrado scored a full 28.2% of Harmony's points, the fourth time in a row he's earned more than a third of the team's points. Another player making a difference was Sylus Cory, who scored 8 points.
Orlando Christian Prep's victory bumped their record up to 4-0. As for Harmony, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-1.
Orlando Christian Prep will square off against iSchool of Lewisville at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. ISchool of Lewisville is strutting with some offensive muscle, as they've averaged 56.7 points per game. Harmony won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against Tohopekaliga at 7:00 p.m. on December 6th.
