The Karns Beavers won the last time they faced the Campbell County Cougars, and things went their way on Friday too. Karns walked away with a 56-47 victory over Campbell County.
Luke Browning and Gavin Cox certainly did their best on Friday to avoid the loss. Browning scored 14 points along with seven assists and five rebounds, while Cox almost dropped a double-double on 14 points and nine rebounds. Keegan Nelson was another key contributor, scoring five points along with two steals.
Karns' win bumped their record up to 9-11. As for Campbell County, they are on an eight-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 7-19.
Karns didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 72-51 win vs. Clinton on the 10th. Campbell County does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
