They were led to victory by the tag-team duo of
Adrian Gonzales and
Daniel Lopez, who scored all four of Cobalt Institute of Math & Science Academy's goals. The pair have combined for a total of 38 so far this season.
The victory (which was Cobalt Institute of Math & Science Academy's sixth in a row) raised their record to 13-7. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 25 goals over those six games. As for Verbum Dei Jesuit, their loss ended a four-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 10-8-5.
