The Cheltenham Panthers had already won three in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 13.7 points), and they went ahead and made it four on Friday. They blew past Wissahickon 39-12 on the road. That's another feather in the cap for Cheltenham, who also won these teams' last head-to-head.
Stanley 'Tre' Mcleod was the offensive standout of the match as he rushed for 127 yards and two touchdowns on only six carries. Mcleod was no stranger to the big play, turning on the jets for a run that went for 63 yards. Jared Higginbotham did his part to keep the secondary busy, picking up 85 receiving yards, while also punching in a rushing scores.
Despite the defeat, Wissahickon saw an underclassman step up: Quasir Sampson rushed for 91 yards and a touchdown.
Cheltenham's victory was their third straight on the road, which bumped their overall record up to 5-5. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 35.7 points per game. As for Wissahickon, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 6-4.

Central Bucks West will be coming into the contest with an undefeated record on the line. As for Wissahickon, they will head out on the road to face off against Downingtown East at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Downingtown East presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than Wissahickon in Pennsylvania (Downingtown East is ranked tenth, while Wissahickon is ranked 230th).
