Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Western Alamance). They breezed past the Southern Alamance Patriots to the tune of 88-18 on Friday. It was another big night for Allie Sykes, who went 11-for-17 from beyond the arc on her way to 41 points along with five boards and three steals. Thanks to that strong game, she now owns an excellent 40.1% three-point shooting accuracy. The team also got some help courtesy of Emma Johnson, who went 9-for-16 to rack up 23 points in addition to five rebounds and three steals.
Western Alamance smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 18 offensive boards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least eight offensive rebounds in 17 consecutive matches.
