Kaleiah Connor was a major factor no matter where she played. On the mound, she didn't allow a single earned run while striking out 12 over seven innings pitched. That's the most strikeouts she has posted since back in March. She was also stellar in the batter's box, going 2-for-3 with one home run and two RBI.
In other batting news, West Scranton got a big performance out of Brianna Connor, who went 2-for-4 with one triple, one run, and one double. That triple marked the first that Connor has hit this season. Another player making a difference was Sophia Deluca, who went 3-for-4 with one run, one double, and one RBI.
West Scranton was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .452. They are a perfect 6-0 when they post a batting average of .375 or better.
Scranton's loss dropped their record down to 3-15. As for West Scranton, their victory bumped their record up to 10-8.
