The East Vikings won against the Oxford Hornets last Friday with 35 points and they decided to stick to that point total again on Friday. East blew past Oxford 35-7 at home. The result was nothing new for East, who have now won four contests by 22 points or more so far this season.
Coby Jaramillo was on fire: he rushed for 210 yards and two touchdowns while picking up 7.5 yards per carry.
East's defense stepped up as well, laying out the QB five times. Leading the way was Maddox Wagner and his two sacks.
The win (which was East's third in a row) raised their record to 5-4. They've been dominating during the games in that stretch too, as they've won by an average of 34 points. As for Oxford, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-8.
East will head out on the road to face off against Henderson at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Henderson is coming into the match hot, having won their last three games. As for Oxford, they will be playing at home against Sun Valley at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
