The Thomas A. Edison Owls waltzed into their matchup on Friday with two straight wins but they left with three. They walked away with a 50-40 victory over Parkway Northwest. That result was just more of the same for these two, as Thomas A. Edison also won the last time the pair played back in February of 2023.
Thomas A. Edison's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Andre Roberts, who scored 17 points along with two blocks. It was the first time this season that Roberts posted two or more blocks. The team also got some help courtesy of Ernan Rivera, who scored 12 points along with three steals.
Thomas A. Edison is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five games, which provided a nice bump to their 14-8 record this season. As for Parkway Northwest, their defeat dropped their record down to 9-4.
Thomas A. Edison will head out on the road to take on the Dragons at 3:15 p.m. on Tuesday. TECH Freire Charter has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games. Parkway Northwest does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
