The Miller Falcons can finally bid farewell to their 11-game losing streak thanks to their game on Friday. They snuck past Berne Union with a 34-28 win. The win was just what Miller needed coming off of a 73-4 loss in their prior game.
Miller's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Jayden Agriesti led the charge by dropping a double-double on 11 points and 11 rebounds. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Agriesti has scored all season. Abby Keller was another key contributor, scoring seven points along with ten rebounds.
Miller's win ended a eight-game drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 2-12. As for Berne Union, they bumped their record down to 0-13 with that loss, which was their seventh straight on the road.
Miller will face off against Fairfield Christian Academy at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Berne Union, they will look to defend their home court on Thursday against Liberty Christian Academy at 7:30 p.m. Hopefully Liberty Christian Academy focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 28 on Tuesday.
