Chillicothe added to the longest winning streak in South Central Ohio this week by beating McClain, 66-0. The win marks sixth in a row for the the Cavaliers.
The Tigers made the biggest leap in the national rankings this week, rising to 7,867 from 8,096. The improvement was largely due to a 66-0 victory over McClain last week.
Clinton-Massie's offense was tough to stop this week, as it produced the league's top passer, rusher and receiver. Hunter Fentress threw for 106 and 2 touchdowns and Jared Halley had 59 yards receiving. On the ground Bayle Wolf chipped in 174 yards. Kelson Gauden helped Clinton-Massie's passing attack out by catching 1 ball for 47 yards.
The Falcons' dynamic duo of Fentress and Halley proved to be unstoppable against Hillsboro, as they were the top passer and receiver in the league this week. Gauden helped Clinton-Massie's passing attack out by catching 1 ball for 47 yards.
Wolf provided a threat through the air and on the ground as Clinton-Massie topped the Indians.
East Clinton's Dalton Floyd and Clyde Snow have formed a dream team this season, leading the league in both passing and receiving yards. 6-2 quarterback Floyd has thrown for 1,054 yards this season, while Snow has 27 catches for 454 yards. Dan Mcsurley's team's Wolf leads the league in rushing yards with 871.
At the moment, the Falcons are in third, while Chillicothe is in first.
The top two defenses in the league will face off this season when Clinton-Massie takes on Ron Hinton's team. The Falcons have allowed 54 points this season, while the Cavaliers have given up 41. Clinton-Massie allowed 0 points last week as it beat Hillsboro.
The Falcons led the league in scoring this week after putting up 77 points on Matt Hodge's team. Fentress ran for 24 yards in the win.
