After only one run in their last match, East Troy made sure to put some runs up on the board against St. John's Northwestern Military Academy on Tuesday. The Trojans were the clear victors by an 11-0 margin over the Lancers. With that victory, the Trojans brought their scoring average up to 6.3 runs per game.

Cole Pettijohn made a big impact no matter where he played. On the mound, he tossed two innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. He has been nothing but reliable: he hasn't given up more than two walks in four consecutive appearances. He was also solid in the batter's box, going 1-for-2 with two runs and one double. That's the most runs he has posted over his last six games.

In other batting news, Jackson Pluess was excellent, going 2-for-3 with two runs and two RBI. That's the most RBI he has posted over his last seven contests. The team also got some help courtesy of Brayden Phillips, who got on base in all three of his plate appearances with three runs.

East Troy always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .571. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as St. John's Northwestern Military Academy only posted an OBP of .211.

The win snapped East Troy's losing streak at five games and leaves them with a 15-10 record. As for St. John's Northwestern Military Academy, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 7-12.
