Concord Christian were out to avenge their 6-7 loss to Cosby from the last time they squared off against one another, but they had no such luck. Concord Christian ended up forfeiting their match against Cosby 0-2 on Thursday. Things were expected to be close, but in this case the state rankings mixed up the winning team.
Concord Christian are still searching for that first win as they fell to 0-4. The win bumped Cosby's record up to 2-5.
Concord Christian will have some time to rest before their next matchup, which is against Ezell-Harding Christian in two weeks at 7:00 PM. Cosby will be playing at home against Cumberland Gap at at 7:30 PM next week. Those two teams seek to continue their momentum from their previous wins.
