Bear River and Logan are an even 5-5 against one another since February of 2019, but not for long. The Bear River Bears will be playing in front of their home fans against the Logan Grizzlies at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The pair have had a bumpy ride up to this point with three consecutive losses for Bear River and ten for Logan.
Bear River suffered their biggest loss since December 20, 2023 on Thursday. They ended up on the wrong side of a tough 59-33 walloping at the hands of Mountain Crest.
Despite the loss, Bear River had strong showings from Aubree Fry, who scored 11 points along with five steals, and Brooklynn Pond, who scored eight points.
Meanwhile, it's never fun to lose, and it's even less fun to lose 49-13, which was the final score in Logan's tilt against Mountain Crest last Thursday.
Bear River has been struggling recently, as they've lost five of their last six contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-11 record this season. As for Logan, they bumped their record down to 1-12 with that defeat, which was their third straight on the road.
Everything came up roses for Bear River against Logan in their previous meeting back in February of 2023 as the team secured a 67-33 win. Will Bear River repeat their success, or does Logan have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
